We have a bi-lingual French speaking Partner and French National tax expert that advise on French Property.  Our Family law team includes a professional Mediator and a Partner in Collaborative law.  A member of our Dispute Resolution team is Notary Public.

Our employment team is well known in Kent for lecturing and writing on employment law.  Furley Page corporate commercial team is renowned for their practical and professional approach and the head of Dispute Resolution is a member of The Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. Our head office at Canterbury has the added benefit of being less than an hour away from London, using the High Speed Rail Link and we have a satellite office in the Lloyd's of London building. Our corporate and insolvency services are ideally situated in the Chatham Maritime area of Medway in Chatham's Historic Dockyard.

Conveyancing Quality Scheme

Furley Page is an accredited member of  the Law Society's Conveyancing Quality Scheme which is a mark of excellence for the home buying process. Furley Page underwent rigorous assessment by the Law Society in order to become a member of the Conveyancing Quality Scheme, also known as CQS, which shows we meet high standards in the residential conveyancing process.  For further information see our Residential Property and Conveyancing pages.

Furley Page and Court of Protection appointment

The head of the elderly and vulnerable client team has been appointed as a Deputy by the Court of Protection, She is the only Deputy appointed in East Kent, and one of only three in Kent. The Court of Protection oversees the affairs of people who lack the mental capacity to make their own decisions, and a Deputy is someone who is appointed by the Court to act for such vulnerable individuals. The Court of Protection maintains a panel list of only 60 approved Deputies.

In 2007 a Partner in our Private Client team qualified to become a Notary Public.

Independent financial advice

Furley Page was one of the original founders of  SIFA, Solicitors for Independent Financial Advice.  Our Independent Financial Advisers are regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority.  Authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority. We are also subject to the Financial Ombudsman Service.

Investors in People

In 2006 Furley Page was awarded the Investors in People Standard. The standard was reaffirmed for a further three years in 2009.  More then 37,000 businesses have the standard which shows committment to good practice for improving business performance through staff.
