Furley Page Cycling Team is participating in the Pilgrims Hospices 45 mile Cycle Challenge on Sunday 6th May to raise funds for the Hospice in their 30th Anniversary year. The route starts at the Canterbury Hospice and goes to the Margate Hospice via Sandwich and Ramsgate and then returns to the Canterbury Hospice.
The team consists of 17 staff members, family and friends namely: Claire Eyles, Hannah Tyler, Sarah Bryant, Sandra Davies, Kelly Richardson, Harriet Deakin, Louise Mathias-Williams, Naomi Hayward, James Muir-Little, Val Prosser, Roland Prosser, Becky Prosser, Tom Holmes, Leanne Smith and Stuart Mears.
We are looking for sponsorship for this worthwhile cause and are hoping to raise in excess of £2,000.
If you feel able to support the team, please visit http://www.justgiving.com/Furleys-Cycling-team.
You can also donate by texting 70070 then adding the code FLPG66 plus the amount of the donation.
The Pilgrims Hospices cost in excess of £9m a year to run. Last year there were over 600 cyclists taking part in this event, raising over £72k and hopefully this year will be as successful. If you have already donated, thank you for your support.
Fingers crossed for good weather on the 6th May - we may need all the help we can get!
