The second in a series of three practical interactive workshops on employment law for Thames Gateway chamber members. The series is open to non members. The workshops are suited to all employers no matter the size of workforce.  The format is part seminar, part interactive Q&As, ending with coffee adn sandwiches.  The workshops will be led by three specialist Employment Lawyers and an expert in HR consulting.

The workshop will cover :

• 'Wrongful', 'unfair' and 'constructive' dismissal examples;
• Practical guidance on how to prevent unnecessary and costly disputes;
• How to ensure that discipline is used early and positively;
• Best practice in disciplinary and grievance procedures;
• Changes to statutory procedures;
• Revised ACAS Code of Practice.
