Buoyant Property Market In Whitstable

The property market in Whitstable is looking buoyant again with residential sales on the increase, says property lawyer Anna Whittle.

Anna, who specialises in private client and conveyancing matters at leading regional law firm Furley Page, comments: Whitstable is weathering the economic downturn due to its good accessibility to London and Europe and its close proximity to excellent schools and quality housing.

"Despite the national property slump, it continues to draw buyers from London, many of whom are purchasing second homes or relocating."

The town has also had a boost from new leases on specialist boutiques, delicatessens and coffee shops as well as the completion of the high speed rail service from London.
