Free Brass Concert Courtesy Of Furley Page Solicitors

A 10-piece brass ensemble will be staging a free musical concert thanks to the continuing support of south east law firm Furley Page.

The solicitors, with offices in Canterbury and Whitstable, are sponsoring a series of free lunchtime concerts at the Gulbenkian Theatre, University of Kent. Open to all, the concerts start at 1.10pm and finish with a ‘give what you can’ collection.

The next concert is on February 20 and will feature Brass 10, winners of the prestigious Royal Over-Seas League Competition. The group has performed at all of the major London concert venues and played at Buckingham Palace for the Queen’s Golden Jubilee celebrations.

Peter Hawkes, senior partner at Furley Page, said: “Brass 10 will certainly provide concert-goers with an lively performance which we have been pleased to support. And anyone can just turn up on the day – without booking – to enjoy the concert.”
