01 December 2003
For the second year running Furley Page Solicitors is supporting a series of lunchtime concerts taking place at the University of Kent between October 2003 and March 2004.
The free concerts which are open to everyone, kick off with some red hot jazz, featuring Trevor Watts and his new eight-piece band, on Monday 13 October at 1.10pm in the Gulbenkian Theatre at the University of Kent in Canterbury.
Furley Page’s support has enabled the University to deliver another great series of lunchtime concerts that, among others, will see the Ovid Ensemble and the University of Kent Camerata also performing in November and December.
Commenting on the lunchtime concerts that the University is hosting Peter Hawkes, Senior Partner for Furley Page Solicitors said: “We are very pleased to be supporting the free concerts again and are delighted that Canterbury can host such a glittering line up of musicians. What makes the concerts appealing is that anyone can turn up on the day, without a prior booking, and hear great music.”
In addition to the support of the lunchtime concerts Furley Page is also sponsoring the world famous Brodsky Quartet which will be performing in November at the Gulbenkian Theatre for an evening concert.
