Furley Page Brings Together 400 Years of Legal Experience

15 September 2003

Leading Kent law firm, Furley Page Solicitors, is expanding its Private Client team in Canterbury following the appointment of Ben Mowll, formerly Deputy Senior partner at Mowll and Mowll.
Ben, who is the fifth generation of Mowll’s to practice law in Canterbury, brings an extensive range of skills and contacts to his role as a Private Client Solicitor. His decision to join Furley Page follows the closing of Mowll and Mowll’s Canterbury office.
Established in 1725, Furley Page is one of the leading law firms in the South East with 20 partners leading teams across ten different areas of practice. It has offices in Canterbury and Whitstable.
Commenting on his move Ben said: “I have decided to stay in Canterbury as my roots and the majority of my clients are based here. Furley Page is well renowned for its client care and is a forward-looking firm that offers a high level of service.
“It was sad to leave the family firm, which has been operating for over 130 years, but there will still be a Mowll practicing law in Canterbury!”
Furley Page Senior Partner Peter Hawkes said: “It is tremendous that Ben has decided to join our firm. His knowledge of the area and the specialist skills that he brings means he will be a great asset to Furley Page.”
Ben Mowll is married and lives near Faversham, Kent.
