Furley Page Clients Jump At Special Offer

Clients of Furley Page have jumped at the chance of a special deal by the firm’s family law team.

The leading regional solicitors reports a big uptake on its January offer allowing clients to discuss family breakdown issues at an initial meeting of an unlimited length for a fixed fee of £100 including VAT.

It is now extending the offer until February 26 because some clients were unable to take advantage of it due to the recent severe weather conditions.

Anne Blenkinsop*, partner and member of Furley Page’s family law team, says: “Christmas can be a very difficult time of year for couples who are already under stress in their relationship and family lawyers experience some of their busiest months in January.

“Many solicitors offer a free first half hour consultation fee but we feel the half-hour cut-off could be counter-productive as there are usually too many issues to discuss in so short a time. The initial meeting can last as long as a client needs - an hour or even two. Following the meeting they will receive a letter, at no extra charge, summarising the discussions so they are able to recall the advice at a later date.”
