Furley Page Keeps Investors In People Standard For A Further Three Years

Leading regional law firm Furley Page has been awarded the Investors in People Standard for a further three years – one of more than 37,000 organisations across the UK committed to a policy of good practice for improving business performance through their staff.

Peter Hawkes, the firm’s senior partner, said: “Our range of work and reputation across our Canterbury, Whitstable, Chatham and Lloyd’s of London offices gives us some advantages in this economic downturn but given the competitive market at the moment it is crucial that we keep focused on delivering the best possible service for our clients.”

Furley Page will build on a number of initiatives begun in the last 12 months including the staff forum (praised by the IiP inspector), team business plans for 2009/10, additional training at all levels in management skills and customer service, and a further review of the appraisal process for 2009/10.
