Furley Page Lawyer Speaks at French Property Event

Fluent French-speaking Kent lawyer Sarah Bogard is one of the speakers at STEP Kent’s The French Connection in Canterbury on September 24. The event aims to give an insight into issues to consider when owning a property in France.

Sarah, an associate solicitor and chartered tax adviser at leading regional law firm Furley Page, specialises in French property matters including advising clients on buying and selling property in France; the French estate administration process and the application of French succession rules. Other specialist areas are wills, trusts, and tax and estate planning.

Among the topics highlighted at the event are different forms of ownership, matrimonial regimes and the PACS, French succession rules and French inheritance tax, will-drafting, domicile issues, and UK and French income tax and capital gains tax.
