Furley Page Woos Nicola Back To Canterbury

15 June 2004

Leading Kent law firm Furley Page has further expanded its Private Client Team with the appointment of experienced solicitor Nicola Hopper, who will be based at the Canterbury Office.
Nicola, who already has close connections with Canterbury having been raised in the area and attending Simon Langton Girls’ School in the city, returned to Kent to practice as a solicitor, after completing her Law Degree at Kings College, London.
Since qualifying in 1986 Nicola has specialised in private client work developing a particular interest in advising clients in Wills and Inheritance Tax matters. She is also a member of STEP (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners) whose membership is confined to specialists in the field of trust and estate work.
Nicola, who leaves an Equity Partnership in her previous firm to join Furley Page, said: “I am delighted to be joining Furley Page. I believe the size of the Private Client Team combined with the range of expertise and experience ensures we can deliver a service which is without parallel in East Kent.”
Harvey Barrett, Head of the Furley Page Private Client Team commented: “I am extremely pleased that Nicola is joining us. Her inter-personnel skills and technical experience combine to make her an exceptional private client lawyer.
“Her considerable experience will be a huge asset to the Private Client Team. Inheritance Tax planning is an area of increasing relevance to our clients and a subject on which Nicola is well positioned to advice.”
