Leading regional law firm Furley Page has retained the coveted Investors in People Standard for a further three years.
IiP is awarded to well-run organisations which demonstrate good management practice with a high emphasis on best practice people management and development. The Standard encourages growth, profitability and efficiency.
Retaining the IiP Standard is one of the key objectives of Furley Page’s development strategy, said senior partner Peter Hawkes.
“I’m delighted that we have retained the Standard, which has become more demanding in its requirements. We believe our success lies in the quality of staff we employ and training and development are key to our future growth. Our aim is to have well-motivated staff with a balance of working life, home and leisure pursuits. Through investing in our staff we can improve our service to clients and potential clients along with improving our status as an employer of choice.
“Having IiP status sends an important message to staff that their role is valued and that we are aspiring to continual improvement.
“We are focused on delivering the best possible service for our clients from our offices in Canterbury, Whitstable, Chatham and London and retaining our Investors in People Standard for a further three years helps us to deliver on that goal,” said Peter.
