Kent Law Firm Keeps High Achievers

Leading regional law firm Furley Page has promoted two trainee solicitors to its legal teams.

Melissa Edmond, 28, of Canterbury, is based at the Canterbury office with the employment team – recommended by independent legal guides Chambers UK and The Legal 500 – where she advises clients on wide-ranging employment issues including disputes and discrimination claims involving tribunals.

Anthony Chester, 43, of Faversham, is based at Chatham with the corporate team – recommended by The Legal 500 - where he specialises in company law, commercial contracts, business sales and acquisitions, and intellectual property.

Peter Hawkes, senior partner at Furley Page, said: “We’re committed to choosing high achievers from our trainee intake and only the best talents make it through to the final selection. In Melissa and Anthony we have two outstanding additions to the firm’s employment and corporate teams.”
