Make a note of a key musical event at the Gulbenkian Theatre, University of Kent – the third in a series of free lunchtime concerts sponsored by leading south east law firm Furley page.
On December 4 talented young pianist Krystian Belliere, who has recently made highly acclaimed debuts at London’s Wigmore Hall, South Bank Centre and St John’s Smith Square, plays music by Shostakovich. The programme includes some of his extraordinary Preludes and Fugues, Opus 87, together with their baroque counterparts by JS Bach.
Open to everyone, the concert starts at 1.10pm and finishes with a ‘give what you can’ collection.
Peter Hawkes, senior partner at Furley Page, said: “This promises to be an excellent concert in a series featuring some exciting musicians. We are very pleased, once again, to be sponsoring the series, strengthening the firm’s strong tradition of supporting music in Kent.”
