In a programme dedicated to the 200th anniversary of Charles Darwin’s birth, Camerata is presenting Saint-Saens’ Carnival of the Animals in a free lunchtime concert at the Gulbenkian Theatre, University of Kent on November 30.
Sponsored by leading regional law firm Furley Page, it promises ‘suitably Darwinian’ introductions to all the musical birds and beasts.
Daniel Harding and Keith Mander play piano and Susan Wanless conducts the concert which showcases university staff musicians.
The performance starts at 1.10pm and finishes with a ‘give what you can’ collection.
