Visitors to the British Eventing Horse Trials at Chilham Castle Horse on August 9 could be forgiven for doing a double take at one of the jumps ? an office desk!

But sponsors of the jump, leading regional law firm Furley Page, wanted to make sure of a lasting impression.

Senior partner Peter Hawkes said: "This is the second BE horse trials the firm has been associated with at Chilham and rather than stick to a traditional jump we decided to be different!

" "The Chilham Castle Horse Trials is part of a dedicated community sponsorship programme which enables us to support sports, the arts and other worthwhile projects."

This is the third BE Horse Trials at Chilham Castle?s spectacular park which was landscaped by Capability Brown in the 18th century.

The venue has been selected as a potential training ground for the Olympics.
