High-achieving employment lawyer Amanda Okill, who specialises in dispute resolution, has been promoted to associate at leading regional law firm Furley Page.
Amanda, who is based at the Canterbury office, has established a reputation for helping to find solutions to litigation issues, working with a wide range of clients - including charities, educational establishments and corporate bodies to avoid ending up in employment tribunals.
She is also a key player in the firm's prestigious employment seminars which are aimed at advising local business how to get to grips with law updates, grievances in the workplace and managing sickness absence. The seminars are run in association with Kent Invicta and Thames Gateway Chambers of Commerce.
Amanda, who is a fluent French speaker and lives in Whitstable, has also run training seminars on employment law issues for the Royal British Legion Industries at Aylesford.
Andrew Masters, partner and head of employment at Furley Page, recommended in The Legal 500 and Chambers - said: "Amanda's solution-based approach to litigation issues has earned her the respect of both existing and new clients and her skills and experience are a huge asset to the team. Her appointment acknowledges those skills as well as acting as a marker for the quality of the services it provides for its clients."
