A successful publishing and marketing executive who left the industry after 15 years to study law is now pursuing a legal career in Kent.
Anthony Chester, 43, of Faversham, has finished his training at leading regional law firm Furley Page, getting the firm’s coveted seal of approval by being asked to join the high profile corporate team – singled out by independent legal guide The Legal 500.
Married with two children, Anthony is a solicitor in the corporate team at the Chatham office where he specialises in company law, commercial contracts, business sales and acquisitions, and intellectual property.
After getting a first class law degree at the University of Kent, he passed the legal practice course at BPP Law School in London with distinction.
Susan Jennings, partner and head of the corporate team, says: “Furley Page is committed to choosing the pick of the bunch. Anthony’s commercial experience and approachable manner are invaluable assets to the team, allowing him to build trusted relationships with clients.”
