Career

Joanne is our Trusts Operations Manager within the Private Client Team and has gained extensive knowledge of the administration of Trusts and Private Client work generally, having worked at another leading law firm in the South East for the last 10 years. 

Joanne deals with the daily administration of all types of Trusts including lifetime settlements, Will Trusts, Nil-Rate Band Discretionary Trusts, Deed of Variation Trusts, Charitable Trusts and Pilot Trusts.  Joanne has experience in dealing with the management of a variety of Trust assets including cash, investment portfolios and Trust properties. 

Joanne handles all aspects of Trust administration including reporting Trusts to HM Revenue & Customs, dealing with key Trust events such as 10 year anniversaries, completion of IHT accounts on the Trust anniversary or following the death of a life tenant, preparing Trust Tax Returns and Accounts, distribution of assets to beneficiaries, recording Trustee decisions and liaising with all professional advisers associated with the Trust.

As and when circumstances arise, Joanne is also on hand to assist our Trust lawyers with the creation of new Trusts as well as the documents required to deal with the appointment and retirement of new Trustees.  

As well as dealing with the general administration of Trusts, Joanne is also responsible for the management of the Trust team to ensure that we deliver a first-class service to all of our Trust clients.
