Career

Joshua completed his Law Degree at the University of the West of England in 2005.  He then worked with HM Revenue and Customs in their prosecutions department whilst completing the Legal Practice Course part time with BBP Law School at Holborn, London, from 2006-2008.

In 2008 Joshua returned to Canterbury to join Furley Page as a trainee.  He successfully completed his training contract and qualified as a solicitor in September 2010.

Joshua now works in our Whitstable office advising on general private client matters, with particular focus on the affairs of the elderly.  Joshua also deals with the administration of estates and probate work.  He regularly drafts Wills and can advise upon inheritance tax issues. He is happy to visit clients at home or at hospital, should they be unable to visit our offices. 

Joshua also deals with setting up Lasting Powers of Attorney for those who are concerned about the future.  Joshua can also assist and advise where an individual has lost capacity and needs assistance with his or her finances, including advice upon care home fees and available benefits.
