Career

Having qualified as a solicitor with a major City law firm, Richard spent several years with Deloitte & Touche in London where he established its work permit department. More recently, he also set up work permit units at Dundas & Wilson and Deloitte & Touche in Scotland.

Richard has many years' experience of advising on commercial immigration issues, including work permits, sole representative status, highly skilled migrant applications and investor and 'millionaire' categories. He also advises on clearances for spouses and dependants. He frequently deals with various departments of the Home Office. A frequent radio commentator, Richard has also written and lectured on the subject.
