Career

Steven Keenan joined Furley Page in 2011 from a law firm based in the West End of London.

Upon the successful completion of his training, Steven was offered a position within the Litigation department of the firm, where he undertook a wide range of litigious matters.

Within a short period of time, Steven began to specialise in the area of Debt Recovery Litigation and subsequently was made responsible for the day to day management of the department. Due to his ability within this area of Litigation, he was then given the opportunity to develop the Personal and Corporate Insolvency area of the department.

Steven has represented clients at County Court level and also has experience in dealing with Registrars at the Bankruptcy and Companies Courts, located within the High Courts of Justice. He has acted for a number of clients ranging from Individuals to Companies including issuing winding-up proceedings on behalf of a well established media company and also advising a Public Limited Company on enforcing an Individual Voluntary Arrangement against a high value debtor.

Steven has been admitted to the Roll of Solicitors for the Law Society of Northern Ireland and is currently taking steps to be admitted to the Roll of Solicitors for the Law Society of Ireland. This is to assist clients who require assistance with enforcement action in different Jurisdictions.

Steven always believes in keeping clients up to date with developments as they occur throughout their case. His pro-active approach means that clients should never be in a position where they are not aware of how their case is progressing and furthermore he believes the advice he provides should always be explained in a manner that each client understands.
