Financial Assistance

The provisions relating to financial assistance in the Companies Act 2006 are now effective and luckily no longer apply to private companies. Public limited companies are still prohibited from giving financial assistance save in certain circumstances which could be by way of gift, guarantee, security or indemnity, release or waiver, loan novation or assignment or material reduction in the net assets of the business.

We have experience of preparing the necessary documentation that you will need and are used to working closely with your accountants to ensure that time frames are met.
