Arbitration

There are a number of advantages of arbitration over traditional litigation through the courts. The process can be adapted to meet the subject matter and can be more flexible. The arbitrator determining the dispute can be a specialist in the subject of the arbitration. The hearing is conducted in private.

An increasing number of commercial contracts provide for arbitration as a means of dispute resolution. We can advise on when arbitration is most appropriate. One of our Partners is a member of The Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and we regularly represent clients in the arbitration process.
