Care Sector & Care Quality Commission (CQC)

We advise on the regulation and registration of care providers including Care Quality Commission requirements  and powers under the Care Standards Act 2000 and the Health and Social Care Act 2008. We offer advice on compliance with legislation affecting care providers and provide representation in the Care Standards Tribunal.

Leisure & Drinks Industry Licensing

We are able to advise on licensing issues for pubs, off-licences, clubs and restaurants and offer representation for licensees in contested hearings before Local Authority Licensing Committees. Our Licensing Team is also equipped to advise on firearms and shotgun licensing, speak to David Hall for further information. 

Coastal, Marine & Fisheries Regulation

We have advised in matters arising under the Food and Environmental Protection Act 1985 and associated legislation, trawler operations and investigations and prosecutions by the Marine and Fisheries Agency.

Road & Transport Regulation & Vehicle Operator & Services Agency (VOSA)

We offer advice in relation to EU and English road transport regulation, vehicle operators’ licensing applications (VOSA), advice in relation to the Goods Vehicles (Licensing of Operators ) Act 1995 and representation at hearings before the Traffic Commissioner, appeals and public inquiries in the Transport Tribunal and the Administrative Court.
