Advice for Creditors

If you are owed money and either the debtor is insolvent you believe is thinking about becoming insolvent, then the earlier you seek specialist professional advice the better.

Our team has both the skills and experience which you need. A lack of understanding of insolvency and its processes by both creditors and some solicitors can often lead creditors to become disillusioned and give up on potential claims. However with early and accurate advice it is possible to enhance your recovery.

We can offer creditors advice on how to deal with and pursue debtors in the following areas:

Individual Voluntary Arrangements (I.V.A’s)

  • considering the proposal and
  • dealing with the Supervisor.

Bankruptcy

  • petitioning for a debtor’s bankruptcy,
  • dealing with the Official Receiver and/or Trustee in Bankruptcy,
  • filing a proof of debt.
