Although we have described the procedures relating to divorce in this section, many of the matters discussed such as Separation Agreements and applications relating to or on behalf of children are equally applicable to unmarried couples.

In addition, we are frequently asked to act in relation to property disputes between unmarried couples and to make applications to the Court for orders for the sale of jointly owned property.
