How will my personal injury claim be funded?

Do you have an insurance policy, for example home contents or motor insurance? 

NO - I have no insurance. In this situation, your case may be funded using a Conditional Fee Agreement (CFA).

YES - I have insurance. In this situation you need to check your insurance policy to see if it includes Legal Expenses Insurance referred to as (LEI)  

Do you have Legal Expenses Insurance (LEI)?

NO - I do not have Legal Expenses Insurance. In this situation your case may be funded using a Conditional Fee Agreement (CFA).

YES - my insurance does include Legal Expenses Insurance. In this situation, your insurer provides legal cover to fund your claim.

Do your insurers offer 'freedom of choice' for you to select your solicitor to run your claim?  

 NO - my insurers insist on using their own lawyers. In this situation Furley Page can continue to run your claim if you wish, we would use a Conditional Fee Agreement and we may use Legal Expenses Insurance cover if and when proceedings are issued.

YES - I have freedom of choice to select my own solicitor. If appropriate, Furley Page would be happy to continue to run your claim using Legal Expenses Insurance cover, but a Conditional Fee Agreement may still be used.

Do you or a member of your family belong to a Trade Union? 

NO - we have no connection with a Trade Union. In this situation, your case may be funded using a Conditional Fee Agreement.

YES - I belong to a Trade Union. YES - a member of my family belongs to a Trade Union. In this situation your union may provide cover to fund your claim.

Does your Trade Union they insist that you instruct their solicitors? 

NO - my union will allow freedom of choice, so I may chose my own solictor.  If suitable, Furley Page would be happy to continue to run your claim using Trade Union cover.

YES - my union insists on using their solicitors to run my claim. But if you wish to instruct Furley Page, we can run your claim using a Conditional Fee Agreement.
