Has Your Miner's Claim Been Under Settled?

Since the inception of the Respiratory and White Finger Schemes many firms have claimed to be expert in miners compensation. Our belief, however, is that some claims have been settled at too low a value due to the negligence of the solicitors. If you suspect that your claim may have been undersettled then we can look at the former solicitors' file for you and advise whether or not we think there is a negligence claim against them. You can then decide whether or not you wish to pursue it.

These professional negligence claims must be settled or proceedings commenced within six years of the date when the negligent advice was given so you will need to consider whether or not you are within that time limit. We have included a miner's case study (anonymised to protect the client's confidentiality) providing some detail on a typical miner's negligence claim against his former solicitors.
