Road Traffic Accidents - Compensation Guide
Related Information
No – in certain circumstances compensation can be in the form of regular payments known as periodical payments although these are far rarer than a single lump sum.
Rarer still are cases involving provisional damages which is where a lump sum is paid, but the Claimant can come back later if they develop complications with their injuries.
Generally speaking, however, Courts and insurers are very reluctant to award damages on a provisional basis – they prefer compensation to be in full and final settlement. In other words the Claimant cannot come back for any more later.

...thank you for all you did. I really appreciated your calls to let me know how things were progressing and informing me every step of the way. I will have no hesitation whatsoever in passing your company onto anyone who needed a reliable, honest solicitor who may I say has his clients best interest all the way through to the end.
