Hot and current employment law topics, including the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR), which come into force on 25 May 2018, will be placed under the microscope at workshops held by leading Kent law firm Furley Page.
The interactive workshops, run in partnership with Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce, will be held in April and May. They are open to Chamber members and non-members whatever the size of their workforce.
The annual workshops are always hugely popular and executives are urged to book early to secure a place. Leading them is Andrew Masters, Partner and Head of Employment, at Furley Page.
“Our workshops are widely regarded as ‘must-attend’ events in Kent’s business calendar,” said Andrew. “They are vital to help employers and HR professionals keep up to date with the fast-changing complexities of employment law and their effect on people management.
“There will be question and answer sessions so there’s plenty of opportunity for delegates to raise issues of concern and interest to their organisation.”
Andrew will be joined by Amanda Okill, a Senior Associate, and Solicitor Tessa Robinson, both of whom specialise in employment law. They are part of Furley Page’s highly-regarded Employment Team, which is recommended by the independent legal guides Chambers UK and The Legal 500. Andrew is personally Top Ranked in the South East by Chambers UK for Employment Law, while Amanda is ranked as a leading individual.
The three workshops will be held at the Mercure Maidstone Great Danes Hotel. Registration is from 8am, starting at 8.30am and finishing at noon. They are:
