Leading south east law firm Furley Page has further strengthened its highly-regarded Dispute Resolution Team by appointing Nicola Wall as a solicitor.

Nicola, aged 26, has dealt with a wide range of commercial disputes including contract disputes, construction disputes, company and partnership disputes, professional negligence and intellectual property.

She graduated from the University of Kent in 2010 with first class honours having read law. She trained with a law firm based in South West England before returning to Kent to join Furley Page at its Canterbury office. Nicola qualified as a solicitor in October 2013.

Furley Page’s dispute resolution team is recommended for its expertise in the sector by Chambers UK and The Legal 500. The latest Chambers UK rankings say the team continues to be a significant force in the Kent market.

Senior Partner and Head of Dispute Resolution Peter Hawkes said: “Nicola is a very welcome addition to a team made up of highly-experienced specialists in dispute resolution. Disputes are a common part of business life; they are problems but they can be successfully solved with the right approach. We see our task as finding solutions to these problems in an efficient and cost effective way.

“Our aim is to give clients practical, commercial advice. We make it our job to understand their business and agree the objectives to be achieved. We provide clear advice on all the available options and we view litigation as a last resort, not an inevitable outcome. We support clients in negotiations and advise on more structured approaches such as mediation or arbitration.”

Nicola, who lives in Canterbury, enjoys skiing and baking.
