Career

Tessa Robinson joined Furley Page in 2017 from a large regional firm where she worked in their Crawley offices as an employment and business immigration specialist.

She works with a wide range of clients and has particular experience with clients in the education, retail, transport and logistics sectors.

Tessa regularly advises employers on day to day issues such as poor performance, sickness absence, disciplinary and grievance situations, and dismissals. Tessa also advises individuals on issues and disputes with their employers including unfair dismissal and discrimination.

Tessa drafts and advises on all types of employment documentation including contracts of employment, policies and procedures, and settlement agreements. She also provides immigration advice to both employers and individuals with regard to employing individuals from outside the UK.

Tessa regularly presents seminars to HR experts, and conducts training sessions for employees of clients on various topics such as performance management, disciplinary procedure and discrimination. She also conducts right to work seminars to ensure employers can prove their employees right to work in the UK.

Tessa went to school in Northampton and obtained an LLB in Law with French Law at the University of Surrey, spending a year both studying and working in Paris.
