Tom completed his Bachelor’s degree at the University of Nottingham, before converting to Law and completing his GDL and the LPC at the College of Law, Moorgate.
Tom started his career working in both the public and legal sports sectors, before completing his training contract with a large regional firm in Lincolnshire, qualifying as a Solicitor in March 2021.
Tom joined the Private Client Team at Furley Page in March 2022. Tom can specifically assist with the following:
- Making a will – to ensure your money and property is left to those you have chosen to receive it.
- Lasting powers of attorney – to ensure that if you become unable to make decisions about your finance and property affairs or health and welfare for yourself, someone you trust has authority to make them for you during your lifetime.
- Probate and administration – to ensure that everything goes as planned following the wishes outlined in a Will, Tom can apply for a grant of probate and guide executors through the administration of an estate, or alternatively handle the full administration and distribution as required.
- Intestacy – in circumstances where someone has died without leaving a will, Tom can assist with applying for the Letters of Administration, advising on the rules of intestacy and ensuring that the correct beneficiaries receive their share of the deceased’s estate.
When not in the office, Tom can be found on the golf course or on long runs in the Kent countryside.
Tom is primarily based at our Whitstable office, but can assist clients in Canterbury and the other surrounding areas.
