Furley Page has been at the heart of the Kent business community for generations and our reputation is second to none which is why we’re so delighted to support the Kent Excellence in Business Awards 2017, KEiBA.
As a new sponsor of the Employer of the Year award, we are now at the forefront of honouring and showcasing businesses which have excelled this year.
Businesses who enter the award we sponsor are employers which have recognised that their staff are their most important asset. Motivated employees provide outstanding customer service which in turn boosts business and increases productivity and profitability. Employers who have the full backing of their staff can face the challenges of the future, stronger together.
When I attended the launch of the Kent Excellence in Business Awards 2017 at Chatham Historic Dockyard I was rubbing shoulders with some of the most dynamic, creative and forward-thinking entrepreneurs and business leaders in the county.
At the launch, two past winners spoke about the impact that success at last year’s KEiBA has had on their businesses in the past 12 months. Although their businesses are as different as chalk and cheese, they echoed each other in providing a ringing endorsement of the positive benefits they have enjoyed following their triumph in 2016.
Speaking as one of the region’s most experienced employment law specialists, with strong ties to businesses in Kent and Medway, I have no doubt that the KEiBA awards are the premium business accolade to aspire to in the county. Winning a KEiBA can propel your business forward and provide a platform to help you go on to even greater success in the future and that’s why I urge people to give it a go.
I am really looking forward to judging the entries in the Employer of the Year category and to help me in the task I am joined by two of my colleagues at Furley Page who have the experience and commercial know-how to help me spot a true winner. They are Corporate Partner Tony Chester and Dispute Resolution Solicitor Deborah Geering and together we relish the opportunity to see at first hand the best of Kent’s business talent.
The deadline for entries is Friday 24 February so there’s no time to lose - visit http://keiba.co.uk/ today.
