Summer work placement scheme

Summer Work Experience 2024

The firm has taken the decision to not undertake any trainee solicitor recruitment this year and as a result, we have suspended our 2024 summer work experience programme and will reinstate it next summer.

Please revisit our website early next year for full details of our 2025 summer work experience.

Thank you for your interest in our summer work placement scheme.

This year our one week summer placements will take place during one of the following two weeks:

• 12 June 2023
• 19 June 2023

Successful applicants will, over the course of the week, spend one day in each of our participating teams including:

• Private Client
• Real Estate
• Dispute Resolution
• Personal Injury

Throughout the week you will be partnered with our current Trainees to act as buddies who will assist you with any questions you may have.

Who should apply for the summer work placement scheme?

Client focused and commercially aware Undergraduates who have completed at least year one of their degree; or Graduates who have completed their degrees, regardless of the discipline and are looking for a career within the legal sector.

Graduates must have been awarded a 2:1 as a minimum.

2. Please clearly indicate which week(s) you are most interested in for your placement when completing your application form and
3. include a Covering Letter with your application, explaining why you should be considered for a summer work placement.

As part of the selection process, you may be required to undertake a short interview which will take place on: Wednesday 10 May 2023.
