November 12, 2018
Individual lawyers and teams at Furley Page have been recognised for their expertise in the latest annual rankings published by the UK’s prestigious independent national legal guide, Chambers UK 2019.
Ten lawyers have been personally recognised for their legal expertise and outstanding services to clients, while Chambers UK has praised Furley Page teams operating in seven specialised areas.
The Corporate Team is again top ranked (Band 1) at the highest level for SME and owner-managed businesses, and praised for its concise advice, efficiency and communication. Partner and Head of Corporate Susan Jennings is personally recognised, with sources highlighting her “excellent technical knowledge and commercial awareness” and “accessible and highly supportive” attitude.
The Litigation Team is described as “tactically excellent through court procedure and negotiations”. Partner George Crofton-Martin is praised for his “calm and capable” manner.
Partner and Head of Employment Andrew Masters is again personally rated at Band 1 and described as “a seasoned employment law solicitor who always goes the extra mile to help”.
The guide recognises Furley Page’s Real Estate Team, with Partner and Head of Real Estate Jeremy Licence personally ranked and described as “very high-calibre and forward-thinking”.
Furley Page’s Real Estate Litigation Team is praised for its swift client service, with Partner Jeremy Ferris personally recognised for his expertise in contentious matters, with sources praising his flexible and pragmatic approach.
Furley Page’s Agricultural and Rural Affairs Team is also recognised.
Meanwhile Personal Injury Team Leader and Partner Neille Ryan is praised for “providing the best care for claimants” and for being “very approachable and prompt in dealing with cases.”
Earlier in the year, the third annual Chambers High Net Worth 2018 global guide was published, which recognises the world’s leading advisers to wealthy clients. The Private Wealth Law Team was complimented for its private client practice and, for the second year running, Partner Aaron Spencer was singled out, with clients praising his knowledge and likeable character.
