Furley Page starts new financial year with raft of senior promotions
April 28, 2026
Leading South East law firm Furley Page has promoted five talented lawyers, building on the firm’s strong commitment to staff development and progression.
Lucie Glover, James Jones and Laura Sinclair have been promoted from Associate to Senior Associate, while Heather Dunlop and Tom Swann have become Associates. The promotions have been made in recognition of the skills and knowledge that the individuals have acquired and fine-tuned while with the firm.
Lucie Glover joined Furley Page in 2011 and works in the Elderly and Vulnerable Client team from the firm’s Whitstable office. Lucie specialises in Court of Protection matters and deputyship applications.
James Jones has worked within the Commercial Real Estate team for the past six years and is experienced in a wide range of commercial matters.
Laura Sinclair works in the firm’s Family team, has over 10 years’ experience in Family Law and is a Member of Resolution.
Furley Page is an active, accredited member of the Investors in People™ programme, an internationally recognised standard for high-performance people management and workplace culture. The success of the programme and its approach is clearly demonstrated by the fact that the two new Associates, Heather Dunlop and Tom Swann, joined Furley Page as trainees and their career paths have been supported and mentored to enable them to progress into senior professionals in their fields.
Heather joined as a Trainee in 2017 and qualified as a Solicitor in September 2019. She works in the Private Client team specialising in estate matters, wills and lasting powers of attorney. Tom secured a training contract with Furley Page in 2019 and qualified as a Solicitor in 2023 and works within the Dispute Resolution team.
Jeremy Licence, Managing Partner at Furley Page, said: “We are very pleased to have made these internal promotions, which reinforce our core values to invest in, support and respect our staff.
“These promotions reflect each lawyer’s hard work and commitment to delivering the highest quality service to our clients across several areas of the law. They are all important members of our team, and I look forward to seeing their careers continue to flourish in the future.”
