Furley Page welcomes next generation of legal talent
October 15, 2019
An appointment by leading Kent law firm, Furley Page, sees a newly qualified solicitor join its highly regarded Private Client team.
Originally from Canada, Heather Dunlop moved to the UK in 2007 and worked in both non-legal and legal sectors before making the decision to study law at Nottingham Law School and BPP Law School. She joined Furley Page as a Trainee Solicitor in 2017 and is based at the firm’s Canterbury office.
At Furley Page, Heather will handle a wide range of Private Client services, including dealing with probate matters and drafting wills and lasting powers of attorney.
Speaking about her experience, Heather said: “The level of expertise at the firm is very impressive and I know I’ve learnt a tremendous amount during my training programme. Since qualifying I’ve enjoyed the extra responsibility of working directly with clients and I’m looking forward to taking on more work and building my expertise.”
Aaron Spencer, Partner & Head of Private Client at Furley Page, said: “Furley Page takes great pride in nurturing talent through our first-rate training programme, which aims to find and develop the next generation of lawyers. I’m delighted to welcome Heather to the team on a permanent basis; she is a talented solicitor and I am confident that she will provide our clients with an excellent service.”
