Key strategic promotions set Furley Page up for next decade
January 15, 2020
Leading south east law firm Furley Page has promoted four talented lawyers in a move that will strengthen the business into the 2020s.
Solicitors Rebecca Crane, Melanie Christodoulou and Hannah Sawyer, and costs lawyer Richard Waters, have been promoted to Associate.
Commercial property lawyer Rebecca, who joined Furley Page’s Real Estate team in March 2019, is based at the firm’s Thames Gateway, Chatham office and works for clients throughout Kent, London and the South East.
Melanie and Hannah are both members of Furley Page’s highly regarded Private Client team. Based at the firm’s main office in Canterbury, they specialise in a wide range of private client work including will drafting, inheritance tax planning, estate planning, probate and estate administration, and lasting powers of attorney.
Richard joined the firm in 2016 and heads up Furley Page’s costs team. As a Costs Lawyer, Richard services the firm’s dispute resolution, personal injury and vulnerable client teams, dealing with all aspects of legal costs, including preparing costs recovery claims and advising on settlement offers.
Jeremy Licence, Managing Partner at Furley Page, said: “These promotions are hugely deserved and reflect each lawyers’ hard work and their commitment to providing the highest quality client service. We are proud that the number of experienced Associates at the firm continues to grow.
“The promotion of these talented people significantly strengthens the expertise within several key teams, each of which is recommended by national independent legal guides, The Legal 500 and Chambers UK.”
