Career
Catherine studied Law at the University of Kent, graduating in 2015 with a 2:1. Following her graduation, Catherine worked as a legal assistant for the Local Authority in child protection matters, gaining experience in matters regarding child neglect, emotional harm and physical harm.
Catherine joined the Family team at Furley Page as a Legal Assistant in May 2017 where she assisted the solicitors in the department and also had her own caseload, advising on divorce proceedings and financial breakdown, financial matrimonial matters including dealing with full financial disclosure and financial remedy court proceedings, and child arrangement issues.
Catherine continued her legal studies alongside working at Furley Page and completed the Legal Practice Course and LLM in Professional Legal Practice at the University of Law in 2021.
Legal training with Furley Page
Catherine began her period of recognised training as a Trainee Solicitor in September 2021. Her first seat is with the Real Estate team in Whitstable.
