Career
Francesca Hayward is an Associate in the Private Client Team and based in the Canterbury office.
Francesca studied Law and Psychology at the University of Kent, Canterbury, before completing her LPC at the University of Law in Bloomsbury, London and qualifying as a Solicitor in 2018.
She is currently enrolled at UCL, London to become a Notary Public, which will enable her to prepare, attest, authenticate and certify documentation which will be recognised internationally.
Francesca joined Furley Page in 2023 having previously practised in Kent and East Sussex law firms.
Her work includes:
- preparing tax-efficient wills for individuals with farms and other types of businesses who wish to preserve their assets on death and ensure that Agricultural Relief (APR) and Business Relief (BPR) can be applied where available;
- carrying out the administration of estates of all values both within the UK as well as Estates with a cross-border element;
- preparing lasting powers of attorney (LPA), as well as registering enduring powers of attorney (EPA);
- and preparing deeds of variation and declarations of trust.
Francesca’s particular focus is on the preparation, alteration, and dissolution of trusts for all those who require asset protection such as individuals and families within the equine and farming industries.
