Career
Hannah Bayley is a Trust administrator within our Trust management team. Hannah joined the team in November 2018 after spending many years within accounts roles.
Hannah deals with the daily administration of all types of trusts including: lifetime settlements, charitable, personal injury and will trusts.
This includes dealing with daily correspondence, completion of trust accounts and tax returns and the management of trust assets including; setting up and operating trustee bank accounts, liaising with the investment managers in relation to the investment portfolios and liaising with property management agents in relation to rental properties.
Hannah deals with the full range of tasks associated with trust administration from the moment a trust is created to the date it is terminated. This would include the setting up and reporting of trusts to HMRC, dealing with trust events such as 10 year Inheritance Tax charges and handling the termination of trusts and the distribution of the final trust fund to beneficiaries.
Hannah is also able to assist with the preparation of Personal Tax Returns, with particular regard to those beneficiaries who need to declare their trust income annually or make a tax repayment claim each year.
She is a student member of the internationally recognised professional association STEP, Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.
Hannah has also passed her Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) Exams to Level 3.
