Furley Page solicitor gains specialist qualification in cross-border estates

Melanie Christodoulou, Associate at Kent law firm Furley Page, has been awarded the STEP Excellence Awards for the highest-scoring student globally from the 2021 STEP Advanced Certificate in Cross-Border Estates.

STEP (‘The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners’) is the global professional association for practitioners who specialise in family inheritance and succession planning; its members are internationally recognised as experts in their field, with proven qualifications and experience.

The Advanced Certificate provides a detailed insight into the different issues that arise when dealing with cross-border estate planning and succession worldwide, including civil and common-law systems and case studies from a diverse range of jurisdictions, including EU and non-EU countries.
