Melanie Christodoulou, an Associate at Kent law firm Furley Page, has been awarded the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) Advanced Certificate in Cross-Border Estates, gaining a distinction.

The internationally recognised qualification offers a detailed insight into the different issues that arise when dealing with cross-border estate planning and succession worldwide including civil and common law systems from a range of EU & non-EU countries.

Fluent in Greek, Melanie is one of only 165 professionals worldwide certified by STEP to advise on cross border estates, and her qualification further strengthens Furley Page’s large private client team.

STEP is the global professional association for practitioners who specialise in family inheritance and succession planning; its members are internationally recognised as experts in their field, with proven qualifications and experience.
