Law firm Furley Page announces raft of promotions including three new Partners

Leading South East law firm Furley Page has announced the promotion of three of its lawyers into the firm’s partnership, while a further five lawyers have been promoted within the Associate ranks.

From 1 April 2024, Sarah Cladingboel, Emma Baker and Ross Rowland will be promoted to Partner, Deborah Trott and Hannah Sawyer become Senior Associates, and Lucie Glover, Lauren Greenham and Luke Page become Associates.

Sarah Cladingboel joined Furley Page in 2017 and works in the firm’s Private Client team. An Accredited Lifetime Lawyer, Sarah specialises in a wide range of matters including wills, estate planning and protection of assets, Court of Protection applications, estate administration, probate and intestacies.

Emma Baker qualified as a solicitor in 1999 and joined Furley Page in 2023. Emma works at the Canterbury office, advising and supporting older and vulnerable clients with issues including estate administration, wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, trusts and Court of Protection work. Emma is also an Accredited Lifetime Lawyer, placing her among the most qualified lawyers in the country for providing legal advice to support vulnerable and older people.

Ross Rowland joined Furley Page’s Personal Injury team in 2002 and was recognised as a Senior Litigator of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) in 2017. Ross advises on all aspects of personal injury and clinical / medical negligence claims work from investigating liability and breach of duty to advising clients regarding their damages and negotiating costs.

Newly promoted Senior Associate Hannah Sawyer joined the firm in 2009 and is a member of the Private Client team, specialising in a broad range of work including preparing wills and estate planning, probate and estate administration and Powers of Attorney.

Deborah Trott becomes a Senior Associate in the firm’s Residential Property team and, having joined in 2008, has built up considerable experience of the Kent property market. Deborah deals with residential property transactions which include the sale and purchase of freehold and leasehold property, new build sales and purchases, and assisting clients with their remortgage and transfer of equity needs.

Meanwhile, Lucie Glover (Vulnerable Client team), Lauren Greenham (Dispute Resolution team) and Luke Page (Private Client team) have all been promoted to Associate.
