Leading South East law firm Furley Page is moving from its premises in Whitstable High Street after nearly 60 years to a new, modern, larger office at Estuary View.

Furley Page, which also has offices in Canterbury and Chatham, will take the lease from the start of April, and expects to complete the move later in the Spring. The firm’s 13 existing permanent staff will relocate from the premises at 52-54 High Street to the new office, together with several who are currently based in Canterbury.

The new offices are conveniently located within the Estuary View Business Park, adjacent to the Thanet Way (A299) and easily accessible from Whitstable, Canterbury and the surrounding area, with plenty of free parking on site.

The move will provide the firm with opportunities to expand its staff and bring new teams and services to clients in the area. Alongside the private client and residential property teams already based in Whitstable, Furley Page plans to add representation from the commercial property, dispute resolution and personal injury teams among others in due course.

Jeremy Licence, Managing Partner at Furley Page, said: “We have practised from Whitstable High Street since the 1960s but the office does not allow us to increase the staff and services we aim to offer in Whitstable. The planned move to Estuary View is an investment in the area and underscores our commitment to the town, our staff and our clients.

“This is the first stage of a wider plan to review all our offices and ensure that they meet our commitment to provide our staff with a modern and comfortable working environment.”

Furley Page is currently reviewing its options for the sale of the property at 52-54 High Street.
