Darren graduated from the University of Kent and qualified as a solicitor in 2008. Darren specialises in Residential Property and Rural and Agricultural matters having worked at top tier firms in both the City of London and West Kent before joining Furley Page in 2019.

Residential Property

Senior Associate whose expertise covers the full spectrum of residential property transactions including acting for high net worth clients purchasing prime central London properties, together with large estates and agricultural homes.

Darren has intimate knowledge of acting for both domestic and international clients looking to purchase both occupational and investment properties. Darren works by ascertaining a client’s desired outcome and providing the mechanisms to achieve this in the most efficient manner. His aim is always to exceed expectations and he gains enormous satisfaction from a job well done.

  • acquired a large house in Stodmarsh for £2.8m presented to an exceptional standard with substantial grounds and outbuildings
  • perfected the security on a £20m central London residence

Darren acts for a number of high-net-worth individuals and landed estates. He handles a wide range of agricultural and rural issues, from buying and selling farms, to handling issues involving rights of way, development, options and overage agreements, to stamp duty land tax.

Recently, Darren has:

  • acquired a farming estate for £6m with Grade II listed farmhouse valued at £3m. This involved the acquisition of the estate road and various agricultural elements including; share farming agreements, ELS, woodland grant, AOC’s, BPS and an extensive solar panels farm.
  • acquired a large farming estate in Kent valued at £6.325m together with residential and commercial aspects totalling nine titles, employees and unregistered parcels of land.
  • acquired land for vineyard purposes to produce English sparkling wine in Kent.
  • perfected security of £2.3m over a vineyard producing premium English sparkling wine in East Sussex.
