Darren Philpot specialises in residential property and rural and agricultural work.
Darren graduated from the University of Kent and qualified as a solicitor in 2008. Darren worked at top tier firms in both the City of London and West Kent before joining Furley Page in 2019. Darren was promoted to Partner in 2021.
Residential property
Darren’s expertise covers the full spectrum of residential property transactions including acting for high net worth clients purchasing prime central London properties, together with large estates and agricultural homes.
Darren has intimate knowledge of acting for both domestic and international clients looking to purchase both occupational and investment properties. Darren works by ascertaining a client’s desired outcome and providing the mechanisms to achieve this in the most efficient manner. His aim is always to exceed expectations and he gains enormous satisfaction from a job well done.

Darren has developed strong relationships with a number of key clients and leads on several high profile and complex transactions. Darren has cultivated a practice in secured lending in respect of high value property, estates and agricultural businesses.

Darren acts for a number of high-net-worth individuals and landed estates.
He handles a wide range of agricultural and rural issues, from buying and selling farms, to handling issues involving rights of way, development, options and overage agreements, to stamp duty land tax.
