Sharon Wilson-Dutin is a bilingual French-qualified Avocate who has obtained her degrees in both French and English laws.
Sharon joined Furley Page in November 2021 after several years post qualification experience in France. Sharon is a member of the Furley Page Private Client team and heads up Furley Page’s French Property and Estates areas of work.
Sharon practices French Succession and Property Laws, providing in-depth advice and assisting clients with French property sales and purchases, contentious French property issues, transfer of French property following divorce, ownership structures, estate administration and French Will drafting. She also liaises with her colleagues on cross-border matters.
Legal experience in France
In France Sharon worked primarily in litigation, defending an international clientele before the French first instance and appellate Courts; notably in the domains of Property, Family, Succession, Commercial and Criminal laws.
Sharon managed her own law practice and worked in close collaboration with the British and American Consulates and Embassies in Bordeaux and Paris. An advocate for development in law, Sharon also worked as a part-time lecturer in Contract law at the University of Bordeaux.
Sharon is registered at the Bordeaux Bar, the Franco-British Lawyers Society and also a Registered Foreign Lawyer with the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA).
