Private Client Lawyer (5 – 7 years PQE)

Based at our Whitstable office with flexibility to work from home, after a settling in period
We are seeking either a qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive (CILEx) to join our Private Client team.
Working within a highly respected and established Private Client team whose expertise is in the preparation of wills and estate planning.
The role consists of dealing with a varied caseload of Private Client matters such as:
- wills,
- drafting documents, deeds and letters,
- giving estate and tax (mainly inheritance tax) planning advice,
- advising in the administration of estates for lay executors, and where the firm is appointed as professional executor,
- providing advice on the use of trusts, advising on and preparing and registering powers of attorney,
- and advising on general private client matters (excluding conveyancing work).
You will have a good level of experience of the areas of private client law noted above along with the ability to relate to clients of all levels and demonstrate excellent levels of client care. In addition, you will be self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision.
